Twins separated at birth highlight the need for expanded Hardin Memorial NICU – WHAS11

The early birth of the VanderMolen twins brought the added stress of the family being separated when one twin had to be taken to Kosair Children’s Hospital while the other twin remained at Hardin Memorial. As WHAS11’s Melissa Swan reports that situation wouldn’t happen now thanks to the WHAS Crusade for Children.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity to the Crusade, Hardin Memorial received a $346,003 grant to upgrade their NICU.
