Community members Chris and Cindy Carter and their daughters Anna Grace and Kennedy have learned a lot throughout the COVID-19 crisis. In the beginning, they were riddled with fear, but as time went on they are grateful to know they live in a community where they feel safe, cared for and every resource they need can be provided.
The Carters believe that there is work and service in gratitude that sets it apart from just being thankful. Moving forward, they will continue to remember and admire the healthcare providers who were the first to step out into the unknown and truly risk their lives. They will also remember the business owners who provided so much to the community while keeping employees and customers safe.
