NEW WHEELS. Two local youngsters have new bicycles thanks to the Kiwanis Club of Hardin County.
They were provided with AmTryke adaptive bicycles from Bluegrass AMBUCS of Lexington.
AaLeah Moore and Charley Childers received the bicycles during a presentation at John Hardin High School.
Kiwanis Club President Darrell Olson said his organization reached out to Hardin Memorial Hospital Therapy and Sports Medicine Center in an effort to locate two likely children to benefit from the gift from Kiwanis.
Bluegrass AMBUCS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating mobility and independence for people with disabilities including young children, teens and adults by providing adapted bicycles to meet the needs of each individual.
