Members of the community turned out for fun and fashion at the 3rd annual Purses, Pumps & Prevention on April 26. Hardin Memorial Health and the HMH Foundation celebrated cancer survivors, their journey, their families and caregivers at the cancer awareness social at the Historic State Theater in Elizabethtown. The event included delicious food, shopping, and a fashion show featuring local boutiques. Eleven of the models for the fashion show are HMH Cancer Care patients, and all proceeds from the event benefited HMH Cancer Care.
This year, tickets to the dinner sold out quickly. So, due to the overwhelming response, additional tickets were made available for the Fashion Show and a Dessert Bar.
The 12 featured boutiques brought beautiful goods from Derby hats to jewelry to Simply Southern styles that wowed the crowds.
Thank you again to our featured boutiques: Ali’s Bubblegum Boutique, The Bug’s Ear, Hataritaville, HMH Auxiliary Gift Shop, Laura’s Street Boutique, To the Nines, O’Neal’s Boutique, raiment + boon, Saronna, Swanky Shoppe, That Cute Little Shop, and Walker Lane.
Hope to see you there next year!
