KUDOS: Praising positives in our community
Two leading, local institutions have teamed up for a series of unique wellness opportunities.
It’s an opportunity to check your body’s vitals as well as your wallet’s.
Hardin Memorial Health is sending its Wellness on Wheels mobile health unit to Fort Knox Federal Credit Union locations for new #KnowYourNumbers tour events.
Community members who register can receive free health and personal finance screenings.
HMH registered nurses will check blood pressure, total cholesterol, body mass index and blood glucose screenings. After the health screenings, participants can visit the Fort Knox Federal branch for a personal financial check-up, including a review of current loan rates, any checking account fees and dividend rates on savings.
Three of these events are coming up this week from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Today at the Bardstown branch, 100 Kelly Drive; Wednesday, at the Hodgenville branch at 299 Lincoln Drive; and Thursday, at the Radcliff branch at 713 W. Lincoln Trail Blvd.
Credit union membership is not needed to participate. It’s also possible to schedule an appointment for a health screening and financial review through the credit union’s website.
It’s a unique opportunity to find free professional help for what ails you.
