Congratulations to HMHF Board Member Carl Swope, the recipient of the 2018 Hardin County Habitat for Humanity Master Builder Award. The Master Builder Award celebrates an individual who has played a prominent role in realizing the Habitat for Humanity vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
Founded in 1992, Hardin County Habitat for Humanity (HCHFH) has been providing homeownership opportunities for hardworking families for decades. HCHFH revitalizes neighborhoods and builds simple, decent, affordable housing for low-income families in Hardin County. HCHFH is an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a global home building movement. Habitat welcomes people from all walks of life to partner in serving families in need and creating a better community for everyone who lives here.
As a board member on the HMH Foundation, Swope also strives to further the mission of the Foundation, which is to provide leadership and resources to strengthen HMH, and to ensure the highest quality of care for HMH patients today and for future generations. It is notable that HMHF Board Member and Treasurer John DuPlessis Sr. has also been a recipient of this prestigious award.
