Hardin Memorial Health officials joined the Meade County Area Chamber of Commerce and community leaders Tuesday for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at HMH Meade County Family Medicine on Hillcrest Drive.
The celebration marked the addition of the practice to the HMH Medical Group. The acquistion was announced in July.
HMH Medical Group Vice President Jeff Kingery said adding the group, which serves more than 9,000 patients throughout Meade County, provides residents with greater access to HMH services.
“We are committed to providing comprehensive health care as close to home as possible for Meade County residents,” Kingery said.
HMH Brandenburg Diagnostics offers MRIs, CT scans, routine X-rays and ultrasounds. In 2015, HMH added Therapy and Sports Medicine at 100 Commerce Drive.
HMH Meade County Family Medicine’s six providers and 16 support staff now are HMH employees. HMH also will provide services for the Employee Wellness Clinic at Monument Chemical in Brandenburg.
