KOSAIR HELPS OUT. Since 2016, a lot of the dollars and cents given at roadblocks to Kosair Charities has come back into the community, including more than $700,000 to the Hardin Memorial Health Foundation.
Recently, Kosair Charities announced a $300,000 donation to HMH Foundation for the Baptist Health Hardin Emergency Department, Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and BirthPlace teams to purchase new equipment to help many of the hospital’s most vulnerable and youngest patients.
The hospital NICU will receive an Infant Transport Incubator to transport babies without disturbance if they need to transfer to another hospital for more specialized care.
Foundation Chairman Joe Prather said it best when he offered, “We live in a generous community and it’s amazing how much we can accomplish when we work together for good.”
Hundreds of babies and their families have benefited and will continue to benefit from the generosity of Kosair and the work of Baptist Health Hardin.
