Congratulations to Dr. Dan Stewart, head of the UofL Physicians Neonatology Group, who was named one of Louisville Magazine’s Top Docs 2016.
HMH is proud to partner with the University of Louisville Physicians Neonatalogy Group to improve care for all babies in the 10-county region that HMH serves. The HMH Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) — about to mark it’s one-year anniversary — elevates the level of neonatal care for all babies.
The six-bed NICU is staffed by two board certified/board eligible neonatologists, who are faculty at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. They provide 24/7 coverage for the NICU and are overseen by Dr. Stewart, who is also Director of Nurseries at Kosair Children’s Hospital, and Chief of Pediatrics at the University of Louisville Hospital.
