The WHAS Crusade for Children and the Hardin Memorial Health Neonatal Intensive Care Unit are a perfect match and residents of this region benefit most.
The HMH Foundation recently was awarded a $90,000 grant to purchase equipment for the NICU — the only Level II NICU in the 10-county region that Hardin Memorial Health serves. The grant also is available to purchase pediatric therapy equipment.
It’s another contribution in a long line of gestures by Crusade for Children to Hardin Memorial Health. Since 2002, the Crusade has provided $752,101 to HMH.
HMH Foundation Chairman Joe Prather perfectly summed it up when he described the Crusade for Children’s significance to the region when he said it cannot be “overstated.”
Those dimes, quarters and dollars dropped in buckets and boots count. Crusade again proved that.
