Co-Founder and Owner
Powers Paper Company
Tara Lynette Powers has called Meade County home since she was seven years old. A devoted mother, grandmother and wife, Tara has a passion for the community in which she lives with her husband Martin – an eighth-generation family farmer.
The co-founder of Powers Paper Company and owner of three other businesses, Tara is an accomplished business leader who has a strong desire to serve and give back. Tara says she has a “… deep conviction that when you sow into fertile ground, you reap rewards that are far greater than what can be seen.”
From support to the Meade County Schools, to helping establish Radiant Church, to making numerous mission trips to Africa, Tara is committed to serving the community and the Lord.
Tara is also a long-time member and corporate supporter of the Meade Activity Center, an organization focused on promoting health and well-being in her community. She sees her service on the HMH Foundation board as an extension of her work to help improve the health of people throughout Central Kentucky.
