Kevin Addington is a lifelong resident of Elizabethtown. He graduated from Elizabethtown High School and the University of Kentucky where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics. Kevin is an entrepreneur in the transportation and commercial storage business and is also involved in automotive service, banking and commercial development.
Kevin has a long history of community service.
“I want to help better my community in any way that I can. We all have to do our part,” he said.
That includes serving on the HMH Foundation Board of Directors. HMH is truly where it all began for Kevin.
“I was born there. I was the last of seven children and the only one born in a hospital. My mother shared the room with a young mother who was having her first child – a girl. So my mother advised the nervous mom with suggestions to help in the first few days,” he said.
Kevin considers our region fortunate to have a healthcare system of HMH’s caliber and he is committed to helping keep it strong.
Kevin’s community service also includes leadership with the Central Kentucky Community Foundation, Elizabethtown Rotary, United Way of Central Kentucky, Elizabethtown Police Foundation and the Hardin County Public Library.
Kevin and his wife Lisa have three children. They attend First Presbyterian Church where Kevin is an elder and trustee.
