Hardin Memorial Health Family Care Center
Dr. Andrea Watson, her husband Eric and their children have called our region home for nearly five years. The mother of three originally hails from Lexington, Kentucky, where she grew up with six brothers and sisters. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University, attended medical school at St. George’s University and completed her residency at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital.
Since joining the HMH team, Dr. Watson has built a strong reputation of delivering quality care to the patients she serves at the HMH Family Care Center in Elizabethtown. She considers her patients family and wants to make sure HMH can continue to deliver the highest quality of care.
“When they walk through the doors of any HMH facility, they should expect to be treated with kindness by expert medical staff using the most advanced technology available,” she said. “They should expect greatness and we should exceed their expectations.”
That’s what drives Dr. Watson to serve on the HMH Foundation Board. “People need to be able to find the care they need in their community. The more resources we can generate, the more we can fulfill any needs our patients have,” she said.
She will tell you that being a part of the HMH team allows her to be the physician she always dreamed of becoming. That’s why she’s committed to doing her part to keep HMH strong.
“This is not just my job. This is my calling,” she said.
